Summary
In this video we explore the Truvius Mega Cap Index, which distinguishes mega cap assets from large cap assets and holds Bitcoin and Ethereum as the only current mega cap assets, each comprising a significant portion of the crypto market cap. We cover the index's methodology, which requires assets must comprise at least 5% of the total circulating market cap for an extended trailing period of time to qualify as mega cap. This video highlights the potential for Ripple to join this classification, while Solana remains behind but not out of reach. We also do a quick performance review of the index over the trailing year and month. I encourage viewers to check out our previous videos on the large cap and mid cap indices for a broader understanding of our asset classifications.
